April 12 - Pray for Hungary!

2 Chron. 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Thank you for joining the International Missions Society in our "month of prayer for missions." Today we are praying for the nation of Hungary, a progressive Eastern European country of about 10 million people divided right down the middle by the Danube River. We have a church of about 140 disciples in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The church is led by Peti and Virag Szabad, and is a hub of missions for all of Eastern Europe. To view today's video from Budapest, click here.

If you are looking for guidance in terms of what to pray for, here are some suggestions:

1. Pray for a stable government that is favorably disposed to Christianity.
2. Pray that God will strengthen the disciples who are already in the country.
3. Pray that God will open hearts and connect those open hearts with disciples.
4. Pray for nationals to be converted in other churches around the world.
5. Pray for God to inspire brothers and sisters to want to lead others.
