April 10 - Pray for Germany!

2 Thes. 3:1-2
Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. [2] And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith.

Thank you for joining the International Missions Society in our "month of prayer for missions." Today we are praying for the nation of Germany, Europe's most populous country and its strongest economic and industrial power. Click here for more information about Germany.

Besides the Ukraine, Germany has our largest concentration of disciples in Europe. The church in Berlin has almost 150 disciples, and the church in Munich has about 100. There are also churches meeting in Ramstein and Dusseldorf, and a few disciples living in Cologne and Stuttgart.

We have two videos from Germany, one from Munich and one from Dusseldorf.  If you are looking for guidance in terms of what to pray for, here are some suggestions:

1. Pray for a stable government that is favorably disposed to Christianity.
2. Pray that God will strengthen the disciples who are already in the country.
3. Pray that God will open hearts and connect those open hearts with disciples.
4. Pray for nationals to be converted in other churches around the world.
5. Pray for God to inspire brothers and sisters to want to lead others.
