One of the best parts of this now annual event is the gathering together of complete families for a memorable occasion. So we had men, women and children of all ages. In fact, if you werent really careful, many of the younger crew were on the prowl with squirt guns in hand.
Following the numerous conversations and sweaty games, all of the adults circled up for a time of sharing. Each family introduced themselves and then told of one highlight from the past year or one soon upcoming. Some mentioned a child headed off to their first pre-teen camp ever. Others emotionally talked of children heading off to college in the fall. There was good news of kids studying the Bible and even some sad news of a potential move away on the horizon.
