April 20 - Pray for New Hampshire!

Acts 1:14
They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Thank you for joining the International Missions Society in our "month of prayer for missions." Today we are praying for the state of New Hampshire, which was the first state to officially declare its independence from Great Britain in January 1776, and is the first state to hold primary elections to choose a new U.S. President every four years. We have two churches in New Hampshire, with a combined membership of about 200 disciples. Mike and Laura Fix lead the Granite State church, and Greg and Leanne Martin lead the church in Portsmouth. To view today's video from New Hampshire, click here.

If you are looking for guidance in terms of what to pray for, here are some suggestions:

1. Pray that God will strengthen the disciples who are living in this state.
2. Pray that God will open hearts, and connect those open hearts with disciples.
3. Pray for the youth and family ministry, and for the campus and singles ministries to grow.
4. Pray for a spirit of sacrifice as disciples make plans to give to missions.
5. Pray for God to inspire brothers and sisters to want to lead others.
